The archetype I explored was the explorer archetype. A story that has one or multiple explorers as main characters is bound to be an exciting tale and a great example of this is "The Incredible Journey". It is a story of two dogs and a cat that live in eastern Canada whose owners left for New York and left them in the hands of a careless family friend. He leaves them alone going on a hunting trip so they decide to search for their owners, leading them to go on a 300 mile trip including many dangerous situations.
